Chapter Two Books is a not-for-profit used bookstore located in Williamstown, Massachusetts. It is completely staffed and managed by volunteers, all of our books have been donated, and store proceeds benefit our town’s David and Joyce Milne Public Library. Our mission is to support our library while offering customers interesting, fun, and noteworthy books in a space where friends and neighbors can meet by happy chance.
We opened our doors in the fall of 2018 and have been offering lightly, slightly used books and media items ever since. We are committed to offering customers a wide selection of used books in excellent condition. You can expect to find both fiction and nonfiction recent releases, books by local authors, books for children and young readers, a varied collection of special and vintage books for collectors and artists, and in-demand titles across the full range of fiction and nonfiction genres.
The nonprofit Friends of the Milne Public Library (the “Friends”) and its volunteers run and staff Chapter Two Books and its related Friends Book Donation Center at the town library. This is just the latest chapter in the Friends’ efforts to raise money for the library. For more information about the Friends and its programs, please visit www.milnelibraryfriends.org.
If you are traveling from afar to visit our store, please be sure to explore our town.
